Ali Deregt

Ali DeRegt is a multidisciplinary theatre artist who focuses on devising, puppetry, clown, and voice over performance. She has recently completed an MFA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, where she co-founded HOT TRASH! Theatre, a devised theatre company that focuses on DIY aesthetics, physical storytelling, and general nonsense. Recent collaborations in Mohkinstsis include Verb Theatre, Mudfoot Theatre, Quest Theatre, and The Green Fools.

Kathryn Smith

Kathryn Smith

Kathryn Smith (they/them) is a designer, director, and creator who has worked across western Canada. Kathryn has worked on and created a multitude of projects including award winning clown, puppet, and new creation productions. Their focus lies in collective creation, queer stories, and the ecology of ensemble. They are an Artistic Associate at Vertigo Theatre, and a member of the Mudfoot Theatre Collective. Greg Wilson

Greg is an actor, improviser, sound designer, and musician. He is currently sound designer for the upcoming audio play USS Artemis, the Producer of Boathaus Studios podcasts, and the host of Two Bad Neighbors – A Simpsons Podcast. Select theatre credits include A Christmas Carol (Carter-Ryan), Hamlet (Theatre Calgary), No Way Out (Theatre Outre) and The Basement Boys (Theatre BSMT) for which he was nominated for a Calgary Theatre Critics Award for Best Lead Actor.

Camille Pavlenko

Camille Pavlenko

Camille (she/her) is an award-winning playwright, actor, and theatre artist. As a writer, her previous work has won and been short-listed for awards from, amongst others, the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Theatre BC, Ottawa Little Theatre, the University of New Hampshire, and the Herman Voaden Prize.

Currently, she teaches playwriting for teens through the Student Writers Group at Alberta Theatre Projects, where she was recently the Playwright in Residence, as well as a member of the 2020-2021 playwrights unit. 

Other recent writing projects include “The Hitchhiker” (Vertigo Theatre), “Go for Gold, Audrey Pham” (Lunchbox Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects), and “Vasilisa & Baba Yaga” (with composer KP Smith, Alberta Musical Theatre Company). Upcoming is the world premiere of her brand new adaptation of Pinocchio, “real boi” (Calgary Young People’s Theatre, Dec 2022).
