Miranda Martini (she/her) is a musician and writer based in Calgary. Her writing can routinely be found in publications like Alberta Views and The Sprawl. Miranda co-wrote music for the award-winning play “John Ware Reimagined,” a musical about the life and impact of legendary Alberta cowboy John Ware. Her face and music can also be seen and heard in the 2020 NFB documentary John Ware Reclaimed. As a queer woman of colour, Miranda often explores these facets of her identity in her work. Miranda was delighted to be a production mentee on the set of USS ARTEMIS.
