Lara is an actor, budding playwright, and sci-fi nerd, who is currently working on a queer femme sci-fi play (Delayed Deliverance) and web series (Convergence). Lara’s voice work includes various radio plays with Darkside Drive and Ai Yah! through the Alberta Queer Calendar Project, alongside content for Calgary Municipal Space Station, a VR experience at the Calgary Tower for Beakerhead, and commercial work. As a theatre performer, Lara recently performed in the Belfry Theatre’s World Premiere of The Ministry of Grace by Tara Beagan and Theatre Calgary’s production of Iceland. Lara’s work outside of theatre centres around harm reduction and sexuality.
